Freshwater biomes are everywhere. In Florida they are in the Everglades. There are ferns, Mangrove Thickets, Swiggers, Diatoms and Saprolegnia. They are in the wetlands, ponds, lakes and rivers.
Freshwater biomes include creeks, streams, rivers and lakes. They cover 1/5 of the Earth and are vital to our survival. The climate of a freshwater biome is 39 degrees to 71 degrees Fahrenheit.
Animals: trout, salmon, bass, cranes, manatee, otters, and beavers. Others include: Frogs, toads, mink, mussels, alligators, crayfish, shrimp, snails, nutria, turtles and muskrat
Plants: duckweed, arrow root, water lilies, bald cypress, lotus, Purple Loosestrife, certain species of pitcher plant, saw grass, fanwort, water chestnut, marsh purlsane, and Little Floting Bladderwort
