Desert
Deserts are found in areas where rainfall is less than 50 cm a year. Examples of such deserts comprise the Sahara of North Africa and the deserts of the southwestern parts of the U.S., Mexico, and Australia, that are situated at a low altitude.
Deserts have very little rainfall in a year. Because there is very little moisture in the air to hold onto the heat from the hot days,
desert nights tend to be very cold.

Many types of animals inhabit desert biomes, including lions, vultures, zebras, dung beetles,
iguanas, camels, scorpions, sand cats and antelopes.

Plants that live in the desert are specially adapted to live in an environment that doesn't get a lot of water. Some of these plants are the Barrel Cactus, Mojave Aster, Joshua Tree, and Chainfruit Cholla
